Kate is phenomenal! We initially set very realistic goals for me to work towards and plan recipes for the week head. The recipes are simple, delicious and perfect for feeding a family. Her enthusiasm for food is contagious and have recently started Kate’s Kitchen Bootcamp. This woman is a foodie guru! Our young people at Dance Base just had a fantastic session with Kate looking at macronutrients and the food they need to fuel their body in order to dance. Kate made three different dishes with the group allowing them to try new foods and work out what they liked and how they could adapt it to their own tastes.

She worked well with our participants, many of who are usually anxious with new people. Kate even managed to get our notoriously fussy eaters to try new food including lentil and mushroom bolognaise which they said was tasty!

Before I met Kate at Eat Right Feel Amazing, I had no relationship with food, did not cook and the very thought of cooking filled me with both fear and dread. I had become trapped in a cycle of grabbing quick, unhealthy snacks to replace meals and didn't see the point in going to all the trouble and inconvenience of cooking for just me. Then I met Kate and that all changed!

I recently had Kate come and do a Kitchen Bootcamp in my home! Soo much fun! She gave me a list of ingredients to buy in and when she arrived we got stuck in to making all sorts of goodies. I consider myself a healthy eater but needed someone to come and give me some fresh ideas and show me how to put different meal options together rather than just the one pot stuff that I had gotten used to! Kate has so many ideas and easily adapted recipes to suite my taste and dietary requirements. I first came across Kate and Eat Right Feel Amazing 3 years ago when I stumbled across the Facebook page. This gave me access to some of her delicious recipes and I ultimately purchased all her eBooks. I had been looking for ways to 'eat clean' and so many recipes put me off with their complexity and highly expensive ingredients. In Kate's eBooks I finally found recipes for delicious meals and snacks that didn't take forever to make and didn't send me into my overdraft!

I lost weight initially, but then I started to plateau. This was years before Kate started her Personal Nutrition Advice Programme, she very kindly offered to look at my food diary and helped me make significant changes. I felt great and managed to lose more weight before being bridesmaid for one of my best friends. It was fab!

After this, I lost my enthusiasm a bit. Roughly two years followed where my eating gradually got worse, my exercise regime faded to practically nothing, I felt rubbish and was constantly tired. I had pneumonia towards the end of last year and suffered from post viral fatigue, and was starting to feel like I would never totally feel myself again in terms of energy levels.

I stopped and thought 'when was the last time I focused on eating well'. The answer was simple, when I was in touch with Kate. At this point Kate had set up her own business giving personal nutrition advice. I quickly got in touch and made an appointment. And boy am I glad I did!
It was great to finally meet Kate in person. She is so passionate about what she does, so determined to help people, but also very real!

I have a very busy social diary and Kate works with me to make plans for up and coming events that might be difficult, offer tips, helped me to consider nutrition in a new way and just helped build positivity.

With every weight loss I genuinely think she's been more excited than me, and that's saying something! She caters her appointments to suit the individual needs of her clients, and if that means surfing the Internet to look at restaurant menus to help you make wise choices when eating out, or talking you through the importance of balancing your macros, that's what she'll do. She has good advice to give on the exercise front as part of your plan as well.

Since seeing Kate, I have lost 3 stone in weight and have lost 10% of my body fat! Kate is just so positive and so genuinely excited to be part of your journey. For anyone who has become a bit stuck, or if you've never really managed to make the changes you've wanted to, go and see Kate! Hazel (41), Drinking Pink Fizz

I decided to get in touch with Kate because I had got stuck in a rut with my eating habits. I like to cook, and thought my diet was reasonably healthy because I didn't buy convenience foods or takeaways. I also exercised regularly and lifted weights, so at 41 and a size 14, I had more or less accepted that this was the weight/size/shape I was meant to be. I hoped to pick up a few tips, and if I lost any weight then that would be a bonus.

Over the years I've been a size 10 and a size 20 and everything in between. I've always struggled to keep my weight down. I've tried Weight Watchers, Slimming World, the Atkins Diet, the Slimfast Plan, diet sheets from my GP, you name it... I even bought Phentermine "diet pills" which are basically just amphetamines so although I lost weight quickly, I was an absolute gibbering wreck! No matter what I tried I either stayed the same, or quickly regained the weight again. All I was losing was money.

Kate asked me to fill in a food diary for a week prior to our first meeting, and as the week went on it really hit home just how unhappy I was with the way I looked and felt. After looking through my diary together, Kate explained her approach which was to set me 3 achievable goals every week, and track my progress. I wasn't convinced at first that making such small changes would make a difference, but I was prepared to give it a shot.

It's now almost 10 weeks later and I've lost over a stone. My clothes fit better, I have more energy throughout the day, and I'm really enjoying cooking and eating a much larger variety of foods. However, what's more important for me is that I finally have a feeling of control over my own body again, and as a result I feel much more confident and positive about myself. This has been about so much more than numbers on a scale for me. I'm learning new things about nutrition every week and I know this is something that I'll be able to maintain. Thank-you Kate!

I can't recommend Kate enough to anyone looking for help with nutrition and weight loss. By following her advice and making gradual, changes to my eating habits I lost over 2 stone and never felt bored or restricted with the food that I ate. When I started my fitness instruction business in May, I was warned from several sources that in going from participant to instructor, my own diet, fitness and nutrition would be impacted. They were right.

Moving from class to class, grabbing convenience food on the go was starting to take its toll. I had just referred a client to Kate late summer, via a Google search, and as we later introduced ourselves, I then sought Kate's help for myself, for a nutritional steer.
